Jeremy Renda

Jeremy Renda started his career in 1999 with the Santa Fe County Fire Department as a volunteer in the Turquoise Trail Fire district as a direct result of a deep desire to serve his community. His professional career started in 2003 after being hired PRN and then in 2006 as a full time career firefighter. Throughout his career he has seen firsthand the struggles that firefighters face both personally and in the many colleagues he has served with. Jeremy has had the great fortune of being guided by many dear friends and elders in his community to find alternative natural therapies as much as possible to cope with the difficulties in life. This has proved extremely beneficial and has created a deep desire to advocate for plant medicine therapies to be available to all that may benefit from them.

Jeremy is dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding mental health in the fire service and open the door to new conversations about healing.
